Gallery 49 is a small and friendly gallery with a picture framing service situated in The Old High Street, Folkestone.
The gallery was opened in April 2006 by proprietor Wayne Reeves in association with the rapidly developing Creative Foundation of Folkestone.
Wayne is a professional artist and picture framer. Gallery 49 features Wayne's own original paintings and limited edition prints, those of some popular local artists and a selection of limited edition prints by much admired nationally known artists. Wayne's work and that of featured artists reflects Wayne's passion for landscapes and local scenes with an impressionistic feel.
Wayne's aim is to offer a range of styles and images with a contemporary look in his choice of mainly natural wood frames at very affordable prices. The Gallery also has a very popular selection of fine art greetings cards.
